  1. Thanks to your post, I found the following page. Lot 582 - A RARE HAMANO SCHOOL SHIBUICHI KOZUKA WITH A To be presice, the last character should be 齊 (or 斉).

  3. I am not sure, but it could be 三原住政宗 (or 家?) – Mihara ju Masamune (or Masaie?).

  13. There are several misunderstandings. 1. Aoi Art says that early spring 1934 is the date when Kanzan wrote the sayagaki. 2. The correct date when the sayagaki was written is early spring in 1968. This is Aoi Art’s mistake.
  14. 刕 is the correct kanji for “shu”, which is a variant character of 州 (shu). 劦 (kyo) is a different kanji, but it is sometimes misused as 刕. BTW, 江州(刕) reads Goshu.
  15. I believe that the term 三省 comes form the Analects and it should read Sansei based on its meaning. (三省 also read Sansho, but it means other thing - Three major ministries in Chine.) As for the second one, the characters on the right are 奥仙田勝之庄. The last character is not 住. I am not sure about their reading, but could be "Okusenda Katsu-no-sho".
  16. The first one: 文政十一年埋忠 – Bunsei 11th year (1828), Umetada 三省子就栄作之 – Sanseishi Narishige made this.

  18. There is a consideration on the motif by Ito Sanpei. Ref. 無銘金山鐔「山道文透かし」鐔 He suggests that the motif is 山道文 – Mountain road pattern

  21. 烈龍 (Retsuryu) – Violent dragon It may be the nickname of the sword.
  22. According to the document, it became clear that the red characters are 長井 - Nagai.
  23. 一劔破千軍 – One sword defeats thousand armies 贈覺張君 – Present to Mr. Gakuhari (There are other readings.) 武井 - Takei 上原 – Uehara I am unsure about red characters.

Just above the logo of Takashimaya, there is a description about another exhibition. 第2回平櫛田中賞受賞記念 堀川恭彫刻展 – Exhibition of Horikawa Yasushi’s sculpture in commemoration of his winning of the 2nd Hirakushi Denchu Award Horikawa Yasushi won the 2nd Hirakushi Denchu Award in 1973. So, I guess the exhibition was held there in 1973. BTW, the 3rd of June was Sunday in the following years. 1973, 1979, 1984, 1990, 2001, 2007, 2012, 2018
