  1. Matt, I struggle also with the last kanji.."鳥". Couldn´t find an appropriate meaning?!
  2. Most likely one of the Tsuchiya school guys. No clue which generation....
  3. Looks like “Yasuchika” (depending on order)!
  4. Might be “切手”!?
  5. First two kanji are the province “伊勢” (Ise).......for the name, I assume “吉定” (Yoshisada) but not sure......

Congrats John, well done! I can only echo the above said. BTW, the protruding rivets are called “za-boshi” in this case, because of the incised washers. A feature, frequently seen on Kaga pieces.
  8. Perhaps “繋” for the first kanji? Still unsure of the second....
  9. Maybe “造”?! But not sure if it makes any sense...
  10. “Nishigaki Kanshirō”.
  11. Nice find! Thanks for sharing BaZZa :-)
  12. Received mine today....just wow!!!

  15. “芳” can also be read as “fusa”, but I’m afraid that doesn’t help......
  16. Might be “重芳作”?
  17. Guess you got it! ........“First month Shōwa 19” Oh, beaten by Mark
  18. Neither do I, unbelievable........Thank you Morita San!
  19. As Ian said.....
  20. "Yoshū" ("Iyo") I assume.
  21. John, What about the last four kanji on the nengo.......“Usukura Narukiyo”??
  22. Yep, I think the same who signed also with "Yamashiro no Kuni Fushimi-jū Kaneie". Or at least very similar......
  23. Hi Ken, judging maedate might be tricky. Plenty of “modern” replicas on the market! Real Edo period pieces are quite rare. So like Malcolm said, pics necessary.....!
