    bonjour, This sword was made in January,1945. (防州, 五龍軒昭邦造之)---The signature says　"Made by Goryu-ken(his pen name) Akikuni ,in Suo province(now Yamaguchi prefecture)"　. His family nane is "Kajimura" 梶村 . I think this Akikuni(昭 邦) is a same smith as Kajimura Akikuni(昭 国).

    Bruno, The inscription is not a poem. The inscription says "Copied from a picture(or a work) by Toshinaka/Toshinaga".

    Hi, Omote side,the first 2 kanji are 洛陽 (Rakuyō). In the past Kyoto was also called 'Rakuyō' by making an analogy to Rakuyō (洛陽), the capital of China. The mei says 洛陽 丹波守吉道　(Tanba-no-Kami,Yoshimichi in Rakuyō (Kyoto)). Date is 戊辰冬作之　(Made in winter of Tsuchinoe-Tatsu year ).

    Hi, The inscription on both sides of the tang is ATOMEI　(後銘). ATOMEI means --- signature added at a later date.

    Hi, The stamp and signature says " Puyi " ( Aisin-Gioro Puyi,1906 – 1967 )who was the emperor of Manchukuo until 1945. The last emperor of the Qing dynasty in China.
