  6. I get all my swords shipped to Sweden to a friend of mine , due to the danish postal service wont freight any kinds of weapons. The danish customs are just to open up and s-h-i-t in. They fail when it comes to calculate fees and tarifs. So many times I won over them. They cant see the difference between a meatball and a pohpoh. But Sweden customs and postal service are wondeful and very easy to work with. They allways accept the value on the parcel and they do it fast. ,10 minutes. Danish postal can take a week.
  7. Yes, they are rare.
  8. Nice list with 36 smiths that became Mukansa. Im very happy to own a sword by Ogawa Kanekuni.
  9. Very Nice display. One thing I dont like.......when tsuka rest on the kake!
  10. I collect little of everything. But love my Ogawa Kanekuni shinsakuto made in 1981 most.
  11. Its today the chinese copy everything others have made! Its was chinese people that became Japanese on the island of Japan. But they evolved.
  12. On other boards like WMA we talk about Japanese ww2 uniforms, equipment and swords. Its the same thing here ,people dont like to hear the truth. I write often only is a fake and dont write long theads why. People need to do some home work. Like all other items they buy. When I started collecting in 1981 there was no computer with www ,books only. Today new collectors have it easy with www info and lots of books. Theres lots of forums for china sword. IMO ,they dont belong here.
  13. Then we talk about the NCO shingunto late war with Wood saya.
  14. The Wood sayas dosnt indicate late war. Please turn photos with tang end down. Like this......
  15. No doubt on that sword. But the one in the thread is a non Japanese made blade and has very little value.
  16. The way the handle is wrapped is wrong. Sword is not from Japan. Im sorry , hope You didnt give a fortune for it.
  17. Dont like the yasurime and the shinogi line on the nakago. I think china.
