lonely panet Posted November 29, 2019 Report Posted November 29, 2019 Hi all fellow members . i was contenplating a few things happening on the NMB this week. (not to mention the meaning of life) so with heaps of spare time in my life at work, I had discovered no person has ever written down the sacred 10 nihonto commandments. so with a quick pen on paper session I wrote is down, 1- thou shall not attempt polishing my sword if I am not a togi 2- thou shall not touch steel of the blade with unclothed hands 3- ye shall always present the cutting edge of the blade away from the recipient. (edit) Brian copyright 4- you shall store the blade correctly when in shirasaya 5- you shall be sparing with the oil 6- uchiko should be used under supervision 7-THOU SHALL NOT PLACE A SWORD ON THE GROUND FOR PHOTOGRAPHING 8- one must not break up a koshirae for profit 9- thou shall always try and improve our knowledge 10- ye shall always learn from our mistakes and be humble when admitting them what do you guys think??? what would you change?? 7 Quote
