I guess that 小松﨑 (Komatsuzaki) is 小松埼茂助 (Komatsuzaki Mosuke) and was the president of 壽屋 (Suya Shoten). (8th Edition) - JINJIKOSHINROKU (who's who) Database (nagoya-u.ac.jp) FYI; Suya story - Military Swords of Japan - Nihonto Message Board (militaria.co.za)
  2. I think that the 2nd line means the polisher’s name. 研上 – Polished 譲之謹 – Noriyuki/Masayuki (or other readings) respectfully

  7. I think I could recognize each character, but I could not decipher their actual reading or meaning. Also, I could not find such a smith name. I can only show my guess here. 日壽(reading?)” forged this at “義弘舘(Gikokan?)”.

  10. I am not sure but there might be other reading. (Yozaemon). And actually, I see 間 or 聞 instead of 門 in the mei. That is strange. I also think that 中村 should be read as Nakamura.
  11. 1. 上野守久國 – Kozuke no kami Hisakuni 2. 喜多川秀典製 _ Kitagawa Hidenori/Shuten made 3. 濃州加治田住人兼住作 – Knesumi in Noshu Kajita made

Sesshu Ikutama no sho Tadashige
  17. The place name in the first picture where the sword was made is 播磨 - Harima. The signature in the second picture says 浪速住井上正吉 - Naniwa ju Inoue Masayoshi.
  18. Is there a signature on the other side?
  19. Yes, 保春 - Yasuharu
  20. I can read only 3 or 4 characters. However, I can guess as follows.
  21. There is a large space between “廿ノ内十六” and “久三” in the actual inscription of “廿ノ内十六久三” on the nakago. So naturally the inscription means 16/20 and 久三. As @Bugyotsuji suggests, 久三 (Kyuza/Kyuzo) might be a name.
Bungo no kuni Masayuki
  23. The video is intersting. I read the comments for the video on YouTube, and I found that the 3rd and the 4th axes are basically used for root cutting.
