    zen gallery and matsukaze buy from yahoo Japan and post them here. many times matzukaze doesnt even have the item but does a buy it now if you bid on his stuff. Hitendo is a fair dealer and he posts the same stuff on yahoo-Japan for the same price... so he actually makes less many times selling to US

    not old but *edit and 99.999999999999% sure not Japanese. The polish looks fake and acid..... upon closer look the nakago shape is off also. weird point at the transition and other small things.... I had hoped it was iaido practice or poor meiji but it is chinese reproduction

    The Boshi does not say Morimitsu to me if we go OEI period maybe nagayoshi.... shallow sori and hakikake appearance to the boshi along with sunagashi and shallow sori look more Echigo Kanro school..... ko nie fits that attribution also.... a little yamato flavor? I am new to kantei and do not have many of the benefits of holding known swords as others. Just throwing my hat into the ring.

    LOL. well if the sword is in good/new polish and goes for a hundred bucks or so, it wouldn't be bad to look at for study. Trying to start a new study group and wouldn't be bad to have swords on the table to show work and flaws.

    yes but how does one find him these days.... he has been like a ghost. I wanted to try and meet up with him possibly with a few pieces and get his opinion. I don't believe he is that far from me.

    I respectfully disagree. The rust looks like surface oxidation. If a good name it may be well worth the risk.
