still no opinion's on tsuba no 1. which I think maybe a Choshu school tsuba , with a sukashi style / rice grain design ? anyone going to have a go at the signature for me please, Steve has already confirmed the school and signature re tsuba No2

Hi Bradley I cant be a 100% sure but the pilots who had a sword in the cockpit IMHO , were no plaining to bail out if you follow my logic !!

Help please , I think I have the Seiryuken part correct but struggling with the Soshu style signature . 1- Choshu tsuba ? signature partial removed ? with seal 2. Seiryuken - on the left with seal , I think ? many thanks,

seen a few of these over the years mainly in Japanese restaurants around the walls as decorative items, not that old IMHO cabinets less than 20yrs old !! -

Hi John the meetings are very informal , just like minded collectors at this time meeting 3 or 4 times a year to help each other out when possible , and the odd scheduled event with talks etc. around the country with other Token societies in the Uk lending there expertise and knowledge .

Hi Peter A lot of hype conjured up by the local Auction house IMHO , I did not make the sale myself , but I know a few collectors that attended the sale, they said there was not much there worth going after !! -

All the tassels I have and I have seen , I have never seen the blue section overlapping around the brown edges , it may be the photos have been enlarged and they are causing this effect?
