Malcolm / Steve many thanks, for the information on the prints. Malcolm , not in anyway dismissing them , i do really like them , i think i done well @ £70.00 for the pair of them - 1st print - 19 of 500 prints and the 2nd 60 of 500 prints. both signed in pencil as you said on the bottom margin . i will try and post a better photo of the other print as requested later .

just adding some of my prints, a couple of modern ones i picked up last year ,a bit dark in colour, but i like them . and a couple of triptych , which would be good if someone new the story behind the prints.

Jason , lots of reasons why you don't touch any blades with your hands it leaves permanent finger prints etc. just for starters + talking over the blades also leaves microscopic water droplets that cause rust and marks that are difficulty to remove if the blade is not cleaned properly . see help FAQ above for more information.

Dean the Birmingham arms fair is in a couple of weeks I believe , go and meet some collectors there and Token members and it will save you the trouble of importing a sword into the Uk , just my two pence worth . -
I am not a 1oo% sure, but is the date - Heisei 1989 ? It would be better if the photos are the right way up . ops just read your post properly , I see you have the date already

Mark already discussed on your other post , sorry as previously said both fakes, it maybe not the answer you were looking for !! if you have purchased this as a authentic Japanese sword , I would ask for a refund .
