    I believe that the Masamitsu is this smith or his son. 藤澤良吉 (Fujisawa Yoshiki) in Kagawa prefecture Ref.     I think that one name on the nakago is 池田道長 – Ikeda Michinaga, who was a student of Nankai Taro Tomotaka, though the sayagaki says it is 代田道長 – Daita Michinaga. One questionable point is that Koka 1st year started from 12th month, and the 2nd month of Koka 1st year did not exist.

    An appropriate translation for 飛行兵長 is Flight corporal. So, he is not an officer. And the person is definitely a male.
