    I can confirm a tsuba in a back jean pocket works wonders but it does take time -months not weeks.

    I once owned a blade where the tsuka wrap looked like and felt like leather. There was damage to the tsuka that revealed that it was actually linen that was lacquered to look like leather. Amazing things were done!

    Brian I suggest that they go into a folder so that the group remains a group. As other books on tsuba are found they could join the group. It would be nice to be able to download the folder rather than individual books. That is why I recommended dropbox.

    When I was a teacher, the role we followed was that you can copy up to 10% off any book and use it in class. Copyright protects from commercial use not educational use. I am not a lawyer!

    I suggest that you use dropbox a free app. Put them in a folder and then share the link. Anyone with the link can access the folder and open or download the files.

    I read today that both messenger and WhatsApp are offering zoom like features.

    I suggested that our next club meeting should be a zoom meeting. I haven't heard back about that yet.

    I was told a long time ago is that it is best to look at a tsuba with a tsuka correctly placed. You would then see it as someone looking at the tsuba mounted on a sword.

    Put a tissue over it and move your finger over it from blade to point and feel of it bevels (slant down).
