  1. Just for interest. Why is it only polished on that short part and no full polished. Thanks Chris
  2. What is low end and what is high end? Who makes the price? The buyer makes the price. If i want a price no one is willing to pay i can built some aircastles but i never sold anything. It's like which god is better?
  3. Maybe i'm not correct but i feel always all the blades from showa22 looks like have the same hamon. This one is nice. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-17th-century-Japanese-Sword-Samurai-Wakizashi-Katana-in-Edo-Koshirae-/322319246865?hash=item4b0bb96611:g:FdIAAOSwHMJYH0p0 It has also a nice theme.

    Dragon In Clouds

Hello Jean, these are other photos. Sorry I can't do better. Outside it is so dark now and the lights in my room is bad. With my limited experience i would say the iron is well forged. The iron is shining blue.

    Dragon In Clouds

For this Tsuba I didnt find out informations about school and period. # 2 (Dragon in clouds with Shakudo mimi, silver pearl dots and gold eyes) 73 x 66 x 6.5 mm (mimi) /the dragon sorts out total to average 10-11 mm thickness. Hope someone can help. Regards Chris
  14. I take a look and i didn't see how the handle is fixed on the blade. Can anyone explain it? For me it looks like the handle is forged as the nakago of the blade. For me the sword looks very nice
  15. The stamps should look sharp and clear.
  16. Looks like a nice sword. The menuki is a fish?
  17. Adam you picked a very nice Tsuba. I saw some more worse Kinai than yours. The leaves are very nice carved and the condition is near perfect. The price is very fair i.m.O. But I'm not a expert.
  18. All things i bought from members here was a very good experience. Gentlements everywhere and some very good contacts. Christian Malterre, Marius, Raymond Singer, Thierry are only examples for all the good peoples here to buy. Thank you all and thank you for the board.
  19. Edit: Sorry you wrote it. My fault Dave on the first picture it looks like none Japanese. It seems to be european saber production befor ww1. what you think? Women with trousers. Some saber on the right side. The women on the machine looks like european. And so on.
  20. Zimbabwe? OMG they will made 3.200.000.000.000 Trillion (Simbabwe) Dollars out of your money. With 32 Million Dollar i would keep at 5:20 in the morning the timer of (go not to work) - and sleep until 8:00
