I thought it was a leather saya at first, the golden color at the end threw me off. Quote

And I'm no Stephen!!! .... but yes, legit. @Shamsy or @Stegel are the experts on these, though. Interesting one in that the Kokura stamp and Suya stamp are switched from their normal positions. I have heard that this happened occasionally. I see also, one of those green handled Chinese Type 32s for sale too, @BANGBANGSAN! Quote
Shamsy Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Not a bad sword, condition is pretty good. The switched stamps is a rare little flaw that I've only seen a couple of times before, always on the coppers. I have one in my own collection, as does Stegel. To me that makes it a far more desirable sword, but I think that's a feature that only the minority of hard-core 95 collectors would actively seek. Was there actually a question here or are you just posting the auction? Quote
Stephen Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 9 days to go @ $1200 bid. + 23% BP. Interesting to see where this ends. Quote
Infinite_Wisdumb Posted March 3, 2021 Author Report Posted March 3, 2021 Just posting for everyone @Shamsy. I already have a copper, so resisting the urge here LOL 1 Quote
