OK Matt - thanks.  I didn't notice this: 'First picture to show scale" so I thought the F/K was by Natsuo - but didn't look like his work. 

Bad day - very under the weather - doesn't surprise me at all.  lol

Ahhh, Pete, the company we keep!!  I'm not under the weather and I also thought "doesn't look like Natsuo's work".

 

Matt - the book is nothing short of a real gem.  I'm truly surprised it was let out of Japan.  The elemental simplicity of the drawings belies their masterclass quality.  I found myself involuntarily gasping at the sheer delight of the compositions.  Congratulations. I'd almost give anatomical bits for that book...

Still blown away buy the kozuka. Before reading and understanding its the moon i was feeling three leaves of a water lilly plant i just added to my pond. One actually can see the movement of the water! Superb!
