  1. Thank you Dirk. I bid on it but someone sniped it at the end...
  2. Yes, I'm aware of this work and like it quite a bit. Thank you for the link.
  3. Hello all, I am building a Natsuo Taikan set and am in need of the Glossy picture book and the Nagatsune sketchbook. Please contact me if you have any leads. Thanks in advance, Matt
  4. I am doing some research on a piece that was supposedly in the Mitsumura Family collection... I have the main 4 books that were re-published in the 1970s and the work is not in those 4 volumes. I'm here looking to either buy the 2 supplements, or pay someone to do a little research for me. Please hit me up with ideas.
  5. Thank you Steve. Yeah, not really my favorite set, and haven't gotten much details on this set. I much prefer this: 第27回重要刀装具 寿老図目貫 加納夏雄 (samuraigallery.com)
  6. Yes, this is a fantastic set and definitely under consideration. Hakogaki is from his son Akio.
  7. Hi John, Yes, I am aware of that listing, thank you very much. I'll be very happy if I can swing that set before it's gone.
  8. And a better pic of the kashira...
  9. Glad you guys liked this set. These 2 pics really exemplify the master level work... like George said, the katakiribori is superb, and check out the inlay work on Raijin. The silver teeth, anklets and bracelets, and of course the eyes. I love the bold mei also, along with it being dated. The Taikan has a sketch and an imprint, and the box lid inlay is original from his shop. Photographic credit goes to Ted Tenold.
  10. Hello All, I am interested in buying, or trading for, anything Kano Natsuo related. I have some VERY nice fittings that could be included in trade. Particularly interested in tsuka or saya fittings, habaki, kogatana, kiseru, kakejiku and kagamibuta. Please contact me if you have something that might be of interest. Matt
  11. Another example for your viewing pleasure...
  12. Hi John, Are your 2 volumes of tokubetsu juyo token nado zufu still available? Also, do these contain the fittings that passed in the same year or did they release a seperate book for fittings? Respectfully, Matt Tokubetsu Juyo Token Nado Zufu
  13. I have the Natsuo Taikan which has a complete book dedicated to Nagatsune skecthes and rubbings. Private message me if you would like something specific looked up.
  14. Rambutan grow in clusters like this, and have large leaves, but I don't think they are common to Japan... Any thoughts?
