  11. I understand but Unfortunately Patrick, DTI is not in Europe...
  12. On the French side, apart Patrice with his stand, we were three from the French token - the President Daniel Gony, Franz Baldauff who has spent years in Japan, fluent in Japanese and has published books and myself (wearing equally NMB badge). I think that this question will be clearly discussed during our next meeting. Where were all the French members, those who go to DTI? I’ll bet some of them will say it was fathers’day... one tenth of our total members.... I am, for the least, disappointed. The lectures were fantastic and given by the top of European experts. Do we have to forget any idea of a European DTI? Will it has to be, as the French expo Daimyos, a Museum exhibition with private collections coupled with a symposium?
  13. I wonder who he is Ray
  14. Sorry for NMB members who could not attend, they missed something: katchu, mempo, kabuto, juyo and above all other members frienship, my friend Rokujuro and Jussi also were there with whom I had lengthy discussions.... Do not miss the next one

  16. Yes but once achieved, there is absolutelly no excuse for not spotting fakes
  17. Steve, Look at every single sword on this site, then you will be able to spot any fake: https://www.aoijapan.com
  18. Chris, Take Stephen as proxy, he can manage very well this kind of thing.
  19. Masamune and Kunitoshi where not forging at the same time. masamune is late Kamakura circa 1328, Kunitoshi was working 1278/1288. Don’t compare as judgement are subjective. You must compare in same traditions and same time. All are rated Saijo saku. You must also compared given blades. What can be true in general is not necessary true in particular.
