  3. I believe the smith is Toshinori(寿矩) in most late Edo era or early Meiji era. A kanji character " ju /kotobuki " is a lucky kanji character for kanji-world-people(Japanese and Chinese). :D
  4. Moriyama-san Pronunciation of the 3rd character is "tomo"(元) Meaning is both. "Jinba tomo (ni) kiri-otosu" .
  5. Hi, Those 2 books are "pamphlet of Nyusho-prize-swords of new swords making exhibition" by NBTHK in 2001 and 2002. You went there? :D
  6. Hi Rick, This signature can be read Nakamiya Keido(ä¸­å®®ã€€æ•¬å ‚) who was a famous sword dealer in Japan. However, his brush-writing-technique is more better than this signature. sorry.
  7. Peter, Very neat sword made by Teikoku-Hamono-Kabushiki-kaisha(Empire cutlery Ltd.). I'm owning the original book(not Jinsoo's riprint book) "DaiNippon Token ShoKo MeiKan"(THE GREAT Japanese SWORD BUSINESS DIRECTRY). Teikoku steel produced Tamahagane-steel(named MURAKUMO-TAMAHAGANE ) during the WW2.

  10. Thank you for your replies. :D I am glad because you have already known the value of the spears(Kikuchi-yari) and the photograph. I believe that the spears on the photograph is most late Kamakura era(?) or early Nanbokucho era. Thanks. k morita.

  15. I got this great book and i was surprised because my name appeared on the next page of Author's preface, and Page 185 as Morita Kiyoshi (Japan). I think it is very honored. Thank you very much Mr,J. Dawson. This book is great book.
