An very well hand forged sword with a interesting hamon and a beautifull mei, new polished and the Koshirae in good condition. A good package! Its a high end showa-to. Hard to find anything better. This shows all the Japanese swordsmith experience with mixed steel and oil hardning.

WIth your first pictures i thought the boshi was heavy reshaped and the hamon runs out. With some light adjust i see that the boshi is ok. I think the waki is ok. A old warrior from Bizen. -
The condition of the koshirae looks like 80 years lying in a wet garage or cellar. I bet the blade doesn't look not better.

This seppa is on the wrong side. It must be on the habaki side. The smaller seppa is on the fuchi side. I think it is assambled false.
-
A strong Yamashiro influence with the typical Kaga nakago. You find that for example on Kiyomitsu blades.
-
For me the blade looks shortend. The hamon is treated with acid, bad polish. Late muromachi/ early shinto.

I know he is a member here in this board and his offers are sold out mostly in seconds. I'm allways to late to catch one of his offers so sad. But this is real crazy. This sword is/was fantastic!

The pictures shows a authentic clear fake type 95. It is to less in quality to call it a good replica.

700 USD only for wrapping ?

Jacob you sword is so wrong in all parts. It is cheap and sloppy made. The dremeled Kanji are total wrong and nonsense. This is a garbage ugly copy of something that would like a Japanese sword. A $25 wall hanger in a chinese snack bar somewhere in asia. Dig it in your garden. Wait 1.000 years and it will be an ancient artifact.

Feng Chu Chan from Longquan made this sword in his first month as swordsmith at the "Traditional Japanese Sword Factory Longquan China, limited Co & Son". They use T12 steel made from the river Tarim which is the same steel as Kublai Khan made his swords from. Btw the company has only made 75000 swords like this. Yours is the number 74916. A real treasure and i would say its worth a lot of money. Because of its unpayable worth you should bring it in a museum. So everyone could see it. Thrust your own thoughts. Everyone wants to steel it from your collection.

Textbook nagamitsu mei.

Some things look good, some are bad. I dont like the lower part of the tsuka. The upper part is perfect. The seppa looks lower quality. As Bruce notice the over stamp of the fuchi is curious. Overall i think the sword is legit.

Beautifull Tsuba Jimi. The guy in front of him looks like Lional Ritchie 😃

Did you sent him a copy?? Please refer from selling self making copies. The book is availabe for a reasonable price like any other older books. People pay a lot of money to get it. -

Looks for me like a classy naginata-naoshi katana. I think the yokote is slightly visible. Very nice blade.

Type3 Nothing else. When someone wrotes nlf i allways think he has no clue. The other terms like RS are total strange and sounds odd.
