Received the PM telling of activity on this post I thank you all for your thoughts trying to match what I'm looking for. Note they are not flat they're dome somewhat like a go piece. And never a wiggly line they're all cut out. I really appreciate everyone's effort to help me in my quest. The latter I think blossom in breeze.

Minus the bones, being this was made last month I was wondering if anybody had a book on the original one. I do like the hammering on this one though. Spartacus?

Brian trying to explain to Dee and Dan How things work around here.

This is Ma Kettle sans pipe just so Dee knows. Miss Dee me thinks it's time to give it up no need for last word, point well made, I would like this thread to stick around so I can see tsuba and not have it locked. Signed Ol dad

@KungFooey Well Well seems I missed a bit of a dust up, probably for the best I would have added only more stress to Brian because old dad can't keep his mouth shut or fingers off the little funny things when put together make a word which is a concept which hurts people's feeling. Back to the point in question, I like that little flat piece of iron I think it's older than some think but I'm far far from being a tsuba expert. Can't wait for it to be in your hand so we can see a picture of your hand, cuz the picture of your face is way much younger I thought, I pictured a Ma Kettle with a corn cob pipe in your mouth, exaggerating of course you seem to be older soul. So yes let's all play nice you too Danny boy...almost broke into song there....from a victim of the down vote buy you know who. Peace love and happiness pip pip cheerio!

Not bad, if there was a starter blade I would think this could be one. Tons of study time there.
