That would make sense I suppose. Being a fittings collector I have hardly ever looked at those kantei so I have no reference for them being available for sale. I wouldn't mind having the one linked above however! LOL

I think their kantei's always go for sale after the exercise. Or am I wrong?

 

Jean is correct, they may all be intended for sale but some never make it through the week's kantei period. One of the early swords he had for kantei was a tanto that was clearly a Norishige. I called him two days in and there were already a queue of customers for that sword.

Back in July the price was 4-4.5m yen for it. I wonder why he took so long to put it forward. I have viewed it in hand and it is a wonderful little thing.

Tsuruta san must be waiting for offers, taking into account his last sentence :)

 

He often adds the "we recommend this xxx" to items for sale when he thinks he's offering something for a reasonable price (but not neccesarily cheaply). Actually you might be eligible for a discount from him, considering how often you promote his website here  :lipssealed: .
