  4. well, i feel sorry for you. that is a very underhanded way to do business. but to all those people who read the forum, the potential lost future customers will more then make up for your sum of money seiyudo, I hope you read this.

  6. this the permission of the new owner, ikubi on a showato is uncommon. i dont know any practical reasons why they were slowly phased out for other types of kissaki, as i have never done Iai or anything related. but i think they look very pleasing to the eye, esp on a tachi
  7. i can post some pics, but i will have to ask the permission of the new owner WILCO
  8. very interesting, its not that common that you find stamping on the blade of dress swords, of any kind does the D-guard had a plastic or bakerlite core instead of horn grip?
  9. micheal, Ebay isnt a real auction. it resembles nothing like a real acution, its a online progressive bidding process, where you cant handle any of the products and your completely at the mercy of there flimsy rules. just like real auction houses, they will find ways to increase there prices with in the flimsy rules. so everyone jump off there high horse's and accept that this is how ebay is run and its the way it will continue to be. because at the bottom line, the higher the price realised, the more ebay make....
  10. as long as your happy with the end product, that's all that matters
  11. Dave, eric has very nice stuff. put our self in his shoes, would you sell something for less then you paid for it ? or let it got for less then the market price??? if you really want it make a offer?? don't forget ebay and paypal are crooks considering what they get in commission PS, in what world do you think your going to get a papered, polished katana in papered koshirae for 3 grand

  15. translation needed please. to me it looks like a how to sharpen guide, as all of the blades shown were issued without a edge
  16. but one hole minute feels so short, when you think of all the goodies you could see

  18. its very sexy. the 1912 german style knot is very odd, it was abolished with the introduction of the shingunto at 1934. so possibly a add on after the war???? but the fittings are hand made and very very interesting, and on the whole, the set is a great piece to own
