  2. No photos but traffic inside the show was a little light on Friday but pretty heavy today. A great show as always with a lot of great vendors and a whole lot of Great items to see and buy. Stop by tomorrow and say hello, you will be glad you did. There is something for everyone here. Thank you Bob for making this a great show again MikeR
  3. Thank you both for the quick responses. I will add some pictures of the sword that originally got me to this questions as soon as I get home. I will also be bringing the sword to the Orlando show this coming weekend. Thanks again. Hope to post pictures before the show. MikeR
  4. Hello everyone and thank you in advance for your time. I hesitated to post this question that is would seem totally off the wall, but here it goes. Can a Japanese sword be judged with a mostly destroyed Nakago or for that matter a Nakago that has been majorly altered or completely cut off? I know that there is a lot to learn from the Nakago but what if we can’t see it? How would the NTHK or NBTHK deal with something like this? Can the blade by itself be examined enough to give someone good information or without a Nakago would it only be a good guess? Thank you all so much. MikeR
  5. Very nice. Thank you for sharing MikeR
  6. Don’t have a clue what they are but I like them. They would probably look good sitting on top of my Tansu along side of my beautiful Tanto. Have a great day. MikeR

  13. With those two holes it looks like a light switch cover. I know the hole isn’t rectangular, like a light switch but does look altered. Just my 2 cents MikeR
