  5. The tsuka missing the fuchi. Looks like Seppas missing too. Officers could get a old tsuba mounted ,but in this case I think its a postwar mixed sword.

  15. Its either a army cavalry or NCO 1899 pattern. It depends on the length. The knot is worth prox. the same as the sabre.

  19. The wax only lays a protective layer. I have used leather grease with great results. But it depends on the condition of the leather.

  22. Its possible to take the woodliner out of the metal scabbard and then se if the blade belongs to the scabbard. But normally type 3 blades has 2 mekugi-ana.
  23. The scabbard is type 3 , and the blade looks like late war. How does it fit in scabbard?
