That is stunning. Gimei or not, it's a fine sword. Wanting a Kyu Gunto for aaages, if I had the money I would consider it. Mind you, the seller seems to know Nihonto, so I expect the mei has been looked at before.

Clearly a Hizen-To regardless of Mei and an almost flawless example of a fine blade in Navy Kyu Gunto mounts.

Seller is our long time member Brandon Reed, we talked about when first posted, he priced it to keep it...lol. I can see why.

 

His other swords are nicely priced i think.

Thanks for the kind words. I don’t list OBO but I’m open to offers on anything I have listed if anyone is interested. PM me if there’s something you like and want to make an offer. I have some other swords I haven’t gotten around to listing including a Type 3 star stamped by Kanenori (metal saya), and another type 98 by Nagamitsu in the cleanest mounts I’ve come across and blade almost looks as if the polish was never completed.

 

In terms of pics, I’m too stupid to figure out how to add more pictures in the description and my photography skills are seriously lacking. ????

I came in a day late because when i first asked when it went up on ebay via FB mess..i was told it was priced to keep...then his post here...perhaps some day ill learn to keep my trap shut!
