  2. Makes me think of the movie Deadpool and of dead bodies spelling Francis 😂
  3. That's weird ...I thought I messaged you here and PM'd your account before a lot of other people saying I'd take it but you never replied. I thought you would want to deal with someone close to you in Canada ? kinda fishy ???
  4. Did I read right ? $2000 ? I'll take it
  5. Thanks for the tip on the petal count as well as the additional photos Bruce.
  6. ooohhhh , ok ...I really appreciate you helping me so quickly with that. I was way off then but I thought it started with a Y. I first thought it was a really unskilled yoshisada from photos before I got it. Take care.
  7. I was thinking the last part is Jin ? Any help would be appreciated i thought the hamon may help
  8. Awesome share ....very cool.....the tsuka looked like a long potato lol.
  9. He is old and stressed out. Times where different in his past. Your word and fist was valued most in his days. Please cut him some slack for the sake of his collection and passion for a hobby. Imagine all the people who messaged him who weren't even serious and said some sideways stupid sh*t just to poke at him. He has a lot of orders and I can only imagine wanting everything to be sent out right and on time.
  10. Please give me some time I'll send you a PM for your help. It may be for sale in a while. I'm very thankful for your fast response and direction. It means a lot to me.
  11. This mei is from a Motohira blade with an amazing Suguha and morning fog raising in the horizon hamon that he was known for. Can someone please help me with confirmation of the date? I thinking late Edo or early 1800’s ? thanks again
  12. Most epic ..... Thanks so much SteveM. for adding some information. There is a long line of other inserted gold kanji I'm not aware of plus a well known cutters name and a kao at the bottom. I've very glad that I bought this blade now.
  13. OOHHHHH ..lol awesome ...I thought I was jumping the gun....first I read it as 3 and then 3 but I thought ...I've never seen that many on a sword so it must only be 3 bodies at the most. So 3 and then 2 ...I'm so happy. Thanks so much again Mr. Singer. You've been a great help. I'm very happy.
  14. Thanks 🙏 😊 so much Ray for the fast response It’s greatly appreciated I was to understand this is a 3 body cutting test ? Am I correct ? No one wants to ship the Tameshigiri mei identification book selling on eBay at the moment to Canada for some strange reason so I’m in the dark stuck with the little information on the internet from swords sold and their descriptions
  15. Looks neat nice share I like the hamon and saya too
  16. 👋 hello can someone please help me with the date from the kanji on the left opposite of the gold cutting test kanji thanks so much for your time and help
  17. I was born in Saint Pauls. Grew up on Hastings St. in East Vancouver. This mei was on it's own on one side of the tang. The opposite side has the owners name and below is the Hizen mei. Cheers
  18. Cool thanks so much for your help and time. This kanji was by itself opposite of left side of mei of the owners name above the makers mei that is on a Hizen blade. Cheers
  19. This is a more than fair price i wouldn’t go any lower if you can help it brother It’s a tough crowd sometimes but keep the faith.
  20. 👋 hello I really need help with this translation This is on a long wakizashi where a date usually is but it looks short to be a date ? Thanks 😊 🙏 so much for viewing to help.
  21. Congratulations on your success and great taste. The hamon on the top of three of the 9th uploaded photo is amazing. What a beautiful sword. The wood earth tones, dark steel industrial framing and bold colours of your interior decoration is very well done and shows great class. Hopefully before I pass in my game of catch up with everyone I can have a tenth of the success and you have. Wishing you a continued path of greatness and thanks for sharing.
