  2. Dustin any scanners close by? you can get good results from a scan, be sure to cover with something dark like a blue folder or cloth.

  12. John its better to shoot down the blade with a light bulb off to the side that will show any hamon, the mei is soshu scrip and i dont have a clue sorry.

Justen if the blade is not worty of polish a good togi wont do it, im sure he could find someone to take his money, not all history is worthy of restoration, I think i see a big honking crack...could be a stain....only a expert should make the call. one could put 50K into a cutom yugo....itd still be a Yugo. the old silk purse out of sows ear saw.

  20. It was just ok, keep waiting for him to say ALIKAZEEM!! (sp). He used clips of few old samurai movies, SS ect that was not in tune to what he was talking about, showed one smith didnt catch his name but our own Paul Martin was there tellling him what was going on in the forge. also relied on cartoon telling the Story of Musashi Miyamoto that id like to see in its full showing. some nice shots of the town and Masashi station id go to if i was ever in Nippon. if your surfing and it comes up it will kill a hour or two, id not go out of my way to find it.
