Bruce Pennington Posted June 10 Author Report Posted June 10 Same here. Two days without trouble. Quote
John C Posted June 11 Report Posted June 11 I had trouble in SoCal yesterday and today, which is unusual for me. Had to clear my cache to get the site to load. John C. Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted Monday at 02:46 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 02:46 PM VERY slow page loading, photo loading & uploading; slow to Save new posts. 7am- 8am US Mountain time. 1 1 Quote
Brian Posted Monday at 04:34 PM Report Posted Monday at 04:34 PM Has it stabilized, and what has the performance been the past week or 2? No problems this side, so has to be international lines. Quote
eternal_newbie Posted Monday at 04:39 PM Report Posted Monday at 04:39 PM Seems stable now (from Australia). I did notice the slowdown earlier at around the times @Bruce Pennington mentioned. Over the last week, I have noticed brief periods where leaving post feedback or a reply in a thread would take a very long time to go through but they generally seemed to resolve themselves after about 5 minutes or so; didn't mention it as they could just have easily been on my end since the internet isn't fantastic where I live. Bruce Pennington Posted Monday at 09:29 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 09:29 PM Just back on the site, 2pm Mountain, and everything is fast as lightning! It seems random when it happens, but for me, it's always in the early morning 6 or 7 Mountain time. Quote
Scogg Posted Monday at 09:35 PM Report Posted Monday at 09:35 PM Experiencing the same things Bruce describes, but pacific time. Early this morning very slow for a few hours, but it did always load successfully. All back to normal by late morning / early afternoon. Seems to happen occasionally and randomly. I always just chalk it up to: “mysteries of the whacky World Wide Web” Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted Monday at 09:38 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 09:38 PM OOPS! Sorry, I've been in Kalifornia for over a year now, and I still say "Mountain time" out of habit!!! 1 Quote

Brian Posted Tuesday at 01:02 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:02 PM Spoke to the hosts who ran some server processes, seems to be better for me now. Let's monitor. 1 1 Quote
Mark Posted Tuesday at 01:02 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:02 PM yesterday it was VERY slow for me. took 5 mins for something that usually takes a second. seems better so far today Quote
Matsunoki Posted Tuesday at 02:44 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 02:44 PM Gone slow again now. Taking up to 5 mins to load and sometimes failing. Quote
SteveM Posted Tuesday at 02:48 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 02:48 PM Access has been very sketchy for me since the beginning of June. I was travelling mid-June and could only connect once or twice (I was traveling within California). The other days I couldn't connect at all. It has been better this past week, but I'm still having issues. Just now I tried connecting to the "recent threads" page, which is my usual bookmark for NMB, and the page wouldn't load. Just an endlessly looping tab as it tries to load the page from the server. Then I tried logging in through "militaria.co.za" front page and was successful, but only after a long while. It still seems sketchy. So some days its just impossible to access NMB. I'm using Chrome btw. Quote
Brian Posted Tuesday at 04:53 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 04:53 PM If this continues, I'm going to consider moving hosts. Sorry guys, this is unacceptable. 1 Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted Wednesday at 02:17 AM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 02:17 AM 7pm, U.S. Pacific Coast time - really, really slow. Quote
PNSSHOGUN Posted Wednesday at 03:30 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 03:30 AM New host may be the only option, current one really seems to be struggling. Quote

Bugyotsuji Posted Wednesday at 05:05 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 05:05 AM Whenever it works, it works fine! “There was a little girl, And she had a little curl, Right in the middle of her forrid. When she was good, She was very, very good, But when she was bad, she was ‘orrid.” 1 Quote
The Blacksmith Posted Wednesday at 05:36 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 05:36 AM It just wasn't loading for me yesterday, it was so slow. I gave up. R. NMB access seems fint this morning! Quote
Brian Posted Wednesday at 06:44 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 06:44 AM Going to take a bit of time, even if I move servers there are hundreds of thousands of attachments. But I'm not giving up and one way or another I am going to resolve this. 1 1 Quote
Chishiki Posted Wednesday at 10:49 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:49 AM Our national carrier 'telstra' crashed in the last 24 hours. Transport shut down.. mobile network down for many customers. I wonder where your server is based Quote
John C Posted Wednesday at 05:40 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 05:40 PM No problems loading, however drop down menu on forums is now missing. Not sure if that's a local problem or not. John C. Quote
