I can hear the tsubako laughing as we contemplate the VOID.  In this case, as always, the journey and destination are of equal measure.  Koi or dragon being the least of it.

Back to dragon mimi

 After inquiring to Elliot and his correspondence with Mr, R Haynes it is thought

 

Stephen, After discussing the tsuba with the dragons on the rim,

we believe it to be Myochin dating ca. 1700 or later.

Not much more to say about it except "very nice".

Cleverly the design creates- AN...TIS...CI..............PAAAATION !   I also like the less frequently used form variant.  Anxiously awaiting the next installment.
