  1. Correct. Forget the papers, Tokubetsu kichu are notorious for not being valid on blades. https://blog.yuhindo.com/green-papers-no-papers/
  2. Great job organizing and following the guidelines @Mark so as to have the show be a success.
  3. I hate that Bjorn. There are three I am watching now that keep doing that. The seller lists, sees how high it gets, and pulls it with a minute left. Then relists, starting at the last bid price. Why not just list it for what the F you want to sell it for?
  4. looks nice to me for the price - welcome to the herd!
  5. hard no without pics. Signatures are everywhere and may be fake. its good you are asking questions, but it will be hard for people to help without some physical evidence of the item in discussion
  6. @Curran no kidding! I got priced out early on the $2400 one. Not sure what Vlad got his for.
  7. Yessir. No restrictions for me. Auctions are ended now though.

  13. Thanks @Darkcon. Im sure its different for everyone. maybe a better question is for @Mark - How many vendor booths are there?
  14. Is there enough content at this show to justify three days of attendance if not a vendor?
  15. This guy arrived today. Any ideas what the brown spot is at 2:00 from the mantis?
  16. Amazing read, thankful for the content that is shared here on NMB!
  17. Dont disagree @Ray Singer Interested to see what it goes for
  18. The plot thickens! Looks like a lot of forging flaws to me, is that assumption correct @Ray Singer
  19. Check out this one! https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/100583113_antique-tanto
  20. Its hamon activity for one Andrew. I passed on the above blade because it was too hard to tell if Nie and nioi were present due to bad photos and old polish. I can definitely see the activity on my Yoshimichi blade, and it has helped me learn. I have also learned to stay away from liveAuctioneers sales as they are really not as described in the photos. As you ask for more pictures the trash becomes apparent.
