  1. Thanks a lot Jussi, fantastic work
  2. I like it a lot too, very pleasant to read
  3. Yes Michael. Should the blade have been better, I would have had a go, because of the blade length and the koshirae. I would say, if we compare the different Aoe juyo sold by Aoi Art, the koshirae price is worth between 1,5 and 2 million ¥
  4. Description is talking about Naginata Naoshi shortened plus late horimono... Itomaki no tachi is part of the price and is much sought after.
  5. https://www.aoijapan.com/katanamumei-aoe-35-jyuyo-token/ BTW, fine blade but the chirimen hada is far from being the typical one. The best one I have seen so far is in Paul B collection.
  6. In all modesty (lol) all my swords are stunning, I keep the Yamato tanto and the juyo Ryokai. Unsold at the time being the Yasumitsu which is fantastic compare to what I have seen on the Web during the last decade. Generally, all daito for sale I have seen were suriage, this one is ubu with a ko kissaki and tachi signed.
  7. Everybody must take into consideration the difficulties of finding a transporter willing to carry swords
  8. HMFUNG, Please sign all your posts by your first name and an initial as per the board rules..
  9. Very good pictures for a very good sword
  10. And you still did not sign your post with your first name ...how do you want us to keep this Board friendly if you cannot call a member by his first name...
  11. Remember that Kanteisho are only written opinion.
  12. For the time being it is on hold. But you are right, Chris, I have not seen on the market a Yasumitsu ubu tachi for ages, all are more or less suriage. The hada is stunning, and the ko-kissaki is lovely., strong fumbari

  14. Kanemoto is a dynasty of smiths who signed Kanemoto. It is signed Kanemoto but is very late generation.
  15. My Dear Friends, It is time for me to part with most part of my collection. All swords are sold 10% under their purchase price. 16. Happy New Year 2019 Yurie
  17. Done for John
  18. It is not Kenjo
  19. The polisher signature
  20. No need to have the handle repaired for shinsa
  21. Andrew, What we can see is the upper part of a kanji which can be « Kane », there were several hundreds of Mino smiths with a name beginning by the Kane kanji. So if you want a written opinion (kanteisho) of the smith, there is only one solution: submit it to Shinsa.
