  9. cant tell you much as I have only what i read here on the board as far as training in kodosu, i do remember reading somewhere, think it was something buy John Yumoto, if the seppa-dai has work on it its just a art item only and not used for the sword. Is that correct?
  10. I'm used to it so ill play devil advocate once more, these swords are not nihonto and need to be posted on SFI or another site. Koichi sama is too nice of a guy and is willing to help all. my two cents, back to being resident grump.
  11. I like the complete setup, esp the rabbit and the moon, one thing I like to point out to westerners, In Nippon they see a rabbit in the moon not a man.
  12. sad part is is not a real Nihonto, just a crappy copy. Sorry PS please sign with your name per sign up rules
  13. Javi, what everyone is pointing out in my mind is the sword does not look to be from Shinto era,and the dates dont run true, if true one of the best preserved nakago I've seen. I have a feeling it was added to a showa blade, just a gut feeling, some references read tenwa must be same as tenan, I have never run across that before. you might want to step back from this seller as he has told you each time your about to buy sword its sold, the one on Ebay did not sell, its enough red flags to go look elsewhere. IMHO
  14. you could use it on the deep end of a line for channel cat.
  15. I was trying to help broker this balde to a fellow board member who was looking for a Motte Namban-tetsu tsukuru blade, it was in need of too much work for a deal, look for it coming to Ebay soon.
  16. the front has a index ie, Masahiro ichi hachi hachi page 188
  17. THANK YOU BOTH, thats the problem working two swords at onec, yes Shinto it may be the shindo smith. Hai domo!!
  18. Thanks John, thats what i wanted to know, now tolook elsewhere.
  19. Nobody has nihonto koza koto 2 page 360 to see if this is the same Kuniyoshi??? :? :?
