Oh no. You said Yasukuni-sword smith Yasuyo. A Kanji has several kinds of pronunciations as you know. But this pronunciation(Yasuyo)靖要 is wrong pronunciation. YasuToshi is right pronunciation.

Thank you for your a reply. Kondo Akikuni was a pupil of Kurihara Hikosaburo (Akihide). Personal name was Kondo Tsutomu. Tosa is not in Tokyo, Tosa is now Kochi prefecture.

I agree with Moriyama-san . The meaning of Haiku poem on kozuka is very peaceful. 世の憂さを、知らぬ 住居(すまい)や、梅の花。 (世間の煩わしさなど知らぬように、この家の庭には梅の花が咲いている。) please Moriyama san, i can't translate it in to English well. Edit, sorry not chisui but Chiei, on my attached photo.

This swordsmith is not unknown smith,only you did not know this swordsmith(Kanetoshi). And, Muneari is not swordsmith, maybe Samurai's name.

Maurice, I believe that this sword is a copie from shortened Tachi blade. So this blade also tachi-mei. Carvings of Shosu tradition taste,hada of Yamashiro tradition taste and carved the mei, are a copie from (Rai) Kunizane blade,I believe.
