Brian Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 This is a must have! According to Markus' site here: http://markussesko.com/2015/11/12/dti-ebook-super-sale/ and in the DTI thread, there is currently a 50% off eBook sale on his books. This is a steal folks! These books are one of the must have resources. http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/nihontobooks http://www.lulu.com/shop/markus-sesko/e-signatures-of-Japanese-sword-fittings-artists/ebook/product-21586815.html http://www.lulu.com/shop/markus-sesko/e-encyclopedia-of-Japanese-swords/ebook/product-21830160.html And lots more. This is your chance to take advantage and get a bargain. I have no vested interest in this, no commission. So my only goal here is to make sure that people take advantage of a really good deal. SwordGuyJoe Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Stock up people - the index alone, for me, is indispensable! Quote
Kronos Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Nice! Time to stock up on all the books I didn't grab the last time around. My recommendations for anyone at all interested in Nihonto would be the Ebook versions of: Swordsmiths of Japan Koto Kantei Zenshu Koto Meikan Shinto Meikan Shinshinto Meikan Shinto-Shinshinto Kantei Zenshu All must have books for serious collectors and ridiculously cheap compared to any comparable books like Hawley's or Fujishiro's. Ed Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Never been much of an Ebook guy, old school I guess. But at these prices decided I would give it a try. Ordered 7 titles. Quote
cisco-san Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Currently I am ordering many ebooks Sorry for the stupide question. But are the prices on the HP already the reduced prices or have I use a code resp. which store I have to use?! e.g. E Shinto Shinshinto Kantei Zenshu for $44,90 ?! Quote
Kronos Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Yes, the prices are the reduced prices. For instance the Shinto/shinshinto Zenshu is a compendium of both the shinto shinshinto katntei books and the kantei supplement books so it is more expensive. The actual physical book is about $150 iirc and the normal price of the ebook around $90. Quote
b.hennick Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 I added another couple to my Sesko collection. Sent an e-mail to my club members letting them know about this opportunity. tarts at 50% off as Marius might say.... Quote
Brian Posted November 12, 2015 Author Report Posted November 12, 2015 Is there a Japanese swordsmiths ebook listed? Couldn't find it there. Quote
Markus Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Thanks Brian for your kindness! I just added a note to the DTI thread because I didn't want to spam NMB with too much advertising of mine. Strange, eSwordsmith should be there. Maybe some temprorary thing? Direct link is here: http://www.lulu.com/shop/markus-sesko/e-swordsmiths-of-Japan/ebook/product-22166224.html @Klaus: Prices are already the reduces ones (eBooks work without voucher codes, so I have to lower the prices manually). I know, kind of expensive for an eBook but I just have to price every book in view of the entire whole, that means the better selling books kind of also have to finance those where I put much work in but which are more for the Nihonto nerds and don't sell that much in general 1 Quote
cisco-san Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Many thanks for clarification :-) Quote

drbvac Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 I went through the entire selection of books and I can not believe the breadth of the publications you have done Markus. There has got to be many years of research and writing and editing for even a small part of the library. AMAZING . The pdf books can be read on a Kindle by the way - excellent value ! Quote
Shamsy Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 I ordered most of the books I was after when lulu had the 30% sale. Timing hey!? I'm still very happy with them, great books, interesting reads and very informative for nihonto study. 1 Quote
Jussi Ekholm Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 I had to join the ebook crowd as the prices were absolute steals. Now I can understand how easy to access the ebooks are as I have them on my PC and on my phone. So I can read them on the go. I would strongly recommend getting Koshirae-taikan: http://www.lulu.com/shop/markus-sesko/koshirae-taikan/ebook/product-21676093.htmlThe pictures are amazing and you can zoom in. With this book I am really getting sucked into ebooks. Quote
jason_mazzy Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 I only wish I could remember which ones i already have LOL Quote
cisco-san Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Now I have eBooks for the next 200 years Quote
Clement Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 With this offer you can't refuse, i've jump into ebooks as well. Thanks for those Meikan and Japanese Swordmiths, and thanks to Brian for the heads up, it would be a shame to pass through this Quote
Brian Posted December 1, 2015 Author Report Posted December 1, 2015 This sale ends Wednesday, so if you want to take advantage of the best deal of the year, do it NOW. You won't see half price again for many, many months. http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/nihontobooks 1 Quote
cisco-san Posted December 9, 2015 Report Posted December 9, 2015 I do now want to hijack this thread, but just a short question. :-) Can I use the Kindle (from Amazon) to read the eBooks from Markus? And if Yes, how can I copy the eBooks to this Kindle? Quote
