  1. Indeed for a wooden sword.
  2. Was following this auction on Jauce; Japanese military sword, saber, Japanese sword, weaponry, Great Japan | Jauce Shopping Service | Yahoo Japan Auctions. eBay Japan The interest in this Item was higher then I suspected...wonder why?
  3. Naaah but I do like the flag.
  4. Sorry, I mean like this: here is a picture of my handles.
  5. @Scogg do you have a picture of the engravings on the handle? Thanks.
  6. Looks interesting Markus, ordered one. Thanks and kind regards from Belgium.
  7. @Nobody Thank you very much! Could this be related to a NCO WW2 sword maybe used on a Japanese Navy fuel depot? It was a bad replacement sword probably made outside Japan and the tag came with the sword. A private from the 2/28 Australian Infantry Battalion came home with it. Here are some pictures.
  8. Or maybe Seikichi Yoshimura?
  9. @John C Thanks! It is older than I thought.
  10. I will post a pic of the complete set.
  11. This wooden tag came with a NCO sword. It could contain the name of the owner and the location where used?
  12. What is written here? Think it is from a Japanese WW2 medal? Kind regards.
  13. @Scogg Hi, thanks for thinking about me. Been in West Australia for a month, which was fun. I only found one interesting private museum on a farm with some Japanese stuff. Will make a topic of it. I do love the sword you found! Interesting blade on it too. Also found something similar but with a parade blade. I will post pictures soon. Kind regards
  14. And it looks like it was mounted...wonder how that looked like? Any pictures exist?
  15. Correct but I suppose we also have members who live in Japan?
  16. It is about the hidden minimum price that sometimes seems to exist on Jauce. I guess it is a way of fishing for a price estimate - either they want an unrealistic price for their goods or they have no idea what to ask for. I do wish the auction houses could just declare a reserve price and get it over with. Very frustrating thinking you have won an auction only to discover it was pulled at the last second. Maybe if you ever sold anything on Jauce this is an option you have to choose?
  17. Much
  18. Some say that with this devise the invisible Ninja could hit you from around the corner.
  19. I never buy Ninja Tsuba without papers.
  20. OK Brian! It was the VPN. Everything works fine when I put it on USA. Thanks!
  21.
