  3. I have bought this kama a while ago. It is very well made and heavy but I just don't know how old it is despite the fact that is was not made yesterday. It was obviously made for combat but I can't figure out if it is a reproduction or not. No chain was with this kama which is fitted with a ring.

PS: I am quite surprised of the number of post this topic has. Anyway, be assured that I am not relying on that sale to survive. 13. Dear collectors, Over the years, I have collected Japanese antiques of all kinds and I have gathered a little collection of different Japanese arrowheads, bought mostly in Japan and in United States from reputable antique dealers or collectors. Some of them are quite bigger than the other (please see the pencil for scale). Some are signed, the other not, they are in average, good to very good condition and date from Edo and the end of Edo. I offer no treasure here but some are quite scarce and some are not so frequently seen. I have also tried to avoid fake ones, Paul Chen types and the likes. I believe that they are all originals. I will like to sell them but I will also accept to trade them or part trade some of them against a complete tetsu sabiji ryubu menpo or a ressei menpo or against a tetsu han-bo or tetsu kaga-bo on good condition. What I try here is to recentre my collection. Please see here no greedy strategy. You can ask me for details or pictures. All sale final, In case you buy more than one arrowhead, prices will be lowered accordingly. Please PM me if interested. 1 : 500 $ very good condition, 2 : 350 $ good condition, 3 : 300 $ good condition, 4 : 200 $ very good condition, 5 : 300 $ good condition, 6 : 200 $ very good condition, 7 : 500 $ good condition, 8 : 350 $ good condition, 9 : 150 $ very good condition, 10 : 300 $ thin, signed, good condition, 11 : 200 $ very good condition, 12 : 300 $ signed, good condition, 13 : 350 $ one tiny chip but good condition, 14 : 500 $ good condition, 15 : 100 $ average condition, 16 : 120 $ very good condition, 17 : 120 $ good condition, 18 : 70 $ good condition, 19 : 120 $ good condition, 20 : 150 $ good condition, scarce shape, 21 : 150 $ good condition, scarce shape, 22 : 100 $ good condition, 23 : 120 $ average condition, 24 : 70 $ average condition, very old one, 25 : 70 $ average condition, 26 : 100 $ very good condition, 27 : 100 $ very good condition, 28 : 100 $ very good condition, 29 : 70 $ good condition, 30 : 70 $ good condition, The pencil is not for sale :D A donation will be made for the NMB.
  14. Few years ago I used to have one which was not so new. At that time, I heard that there were fakes ones in circulation in Japan and they were easily recognizable because they had four rows of stiches instead of three. One tip a serious collector gave me to help you to know if it is a good one or not, is that the red dye used at that time by the Japanese army was not of good quality. In case of rain, the red dye was staining the officers uniforms (only field and general officers had tassels with red dying) which caused quite a lot of complains. Coming back to your nice tassel, my opinion is that this one is too new to be honest. I've seen in Japan in stores dedicated to military personnel of the Japanese Self Defense Forces such old time tassels (but new). I don't know what it was here for sale because this type of tassel is out of the current military regulations. Hope it helps.
  15. I have one too. Dear Morita san can you tell us where the mistakes are ?
  16. Dear Markus, I am in for one copy to ship to France. I will paypal you 35 Euros tonight. Best regards,

  18. Dear Piers, Nice collection, congratulations. They are in very good condition. I love the little one. If I can gather some courage, I will post pictures of the little ones I have.
  19. Dear Bill, Sorry for the late answer, here are the other pictures I took. Please note that I am a terrible photographer. The blade is heavy, thick and sturdy with a kind of double hamon at the boshi. Hope it helps,
  20. Markus, I fully agree with Brian, you are going to bankrupt us all...... but anyway, I need this book
  21. Very nice jumonji yari, piers :D Congratulations. Such nice ones are quite scarce.
  22. What a nice naginata ! Thank you Mariusz.
  23. Dear markus, As a recurrent customer, I am going to order your latest book despite the fact that my bookcases are full (partly thanks to you) . I am just waiting for a good discount rate from Lulu. May I add that I am really interested in a book about cutting tests. As you said, no book in English (to my knowledge) has been written yet about that topic. Thank you again, dear Markus for your work.
