  1. You mean a Daito.
  2. I like you Curran. I like everyone here, especially those who didn't like me. Why? Because i don't meet the members in real life, only here in reading words. I can't break a stuff about people i didn't know.
  3. Brian, you are the CO on board. You make the rules. I think that issue was going into a bad direction. I didn't noticed what happened at all. The sword community is so small we all should try to make a bad world a little better. Its happened the life goes on. I'm sure he had make a donation from the sells to the forum like the most do. From my side i make very less sellings here because i think i have nothing to show with interest. The last Waki offer was non interest so i gave it in an auction for 1 EUR start price (sorry for the sidekick Marco) If i sell something i donate.
  4. Marco that sounds you looking for a quality police who decides which items are worth to get offered Guys please. I know that member since a long time in that forum. He was allways polite and i could not say anything bad about him. From where came all that hate? We should not go into the direction of TikTok and Twitter. Thats my personel thoughts. Sorry.
  5. Brian its all ok but i thought we are alle members here. Why you point out that he is German? I need no answer or anything. I only wonder.
  6. Wow were are the others 11 vol? Saw last an offer 12 volumes 3.000 EUR.
  7. John. Sending costs + Sword price = +20% Vat Price without VAT = +7% custom Price for import = +-70 EUR for the Atlas import sheet. If you have a sword 2.000 US Dollar + 50 Dollar sending import into EU. 2050 USD ~ 1856 EUR +371 EUR +103 EUR +70 EUR = 2400 EUR ~2650 Dollar
  8. Yeah Collin you are right. The Tsuka is damaged. A lot of money is asked for that sword
  9. Colin the ito looks good and original but it is broken. The is on good condition. It is not a gendaito so the yellow color on the nakago should not be a problem.
  10. https://thebestantique.com/product/original-ww-ii-Japanese-army-officers-shin-gunto-samurai-sword/ The name is in the description.
  11. Must be a high important sword because the mei is in green enamel.
  12. You can use all tulipfera woods and theire genetic neighbours like linden, poplar, alder and others.
  13. It looks fake. The pictures are to small to see anything else.
  14. Based off what knowledge you know, what can you infer about this Car off of intuition. [grill, trunk, and mirrors will be revealed throughout this week one by one]
  15. Dao Tsuba The Tsuba is called as a 19th century Sino Wars piece that comes from China to Japan. You see the same style and carving signs also the rough design.
  16. Nothing wrong with it. I like it. The ito lacquer fits to the color of the saya. Its a very eyecandy koshirae.
  17. John was that two swords inside the box?
  18. On the original one is a thicker iron seppa. I never noticed that differences between the medium stage models with iron tsuba.
  19. Maybe the original iron Seppa was lost and someone replaced it with 2 Seppa. One from another Type95 and one from a modern chinese Replica? But the habaki looks very damaged too. Maybe the sword is assambled from different parts.
  20. Thanks for your pictures Matt. I have no idea why that sword was fitted with a modern Seppa. I see the original sakura seppa on the tsuka side. So i wonder why there should be an open space to fill it.
  21. For Sale; Type 95 NCO Shin Gunto, Matching Serial Numbers. £750 Plus Postage . Please contact me with any questions "SOLD" The sword is tagged now as sold in Dollar around $950
  22. found it back
  23. It was somewhere in that facebook groups. I have no clue how to find posts there back. Facebook is a mystery for me.
  24. The hole sword looks assambled from parts. I'm not sure that this is a legit blade. The habaki is hammered into the blade. Looks like a sausage.
