    your cloth cover is getting closer to the glass than the nuks, try with a color hard paper folder and see what it looks like.

    I knew a naughty fellow at one show who put a nice koto Sukesada in NCO mounts and showed it around....it was fun for a day...then he fessed up. always expect the unexpected in Nihonto. esp at shows.

    Joe when scanning i find a color back ground helps alot. i use as blue folder or purple cloth, looking forward to the blade pix.

    Bugs sorry to not be clear, i think the bonji were on the blade and then it was cut down or broken, so it must have been a tachi at one time. pix will tell more.

    Not 100% sure but I do believe that some tags were not so much surrender tags as just transportation tags, of the few I have owned it included the owners name address and railway name and route.
