as can beseen in the graphic in tom Kishid's book, the production number of manufactered blades increased.

 

to what extent this alsso affects the rarer Tanto blades cannot be confirmed certainly.

in the description (which I should have read before writing....) the SUGATA is mentioned: UNOKUBI-ZUKURI (鵜首造):
