Bruce Pennington Posted October 7, 2021 Report Posted October 7, 2021 Can you copy and paste the web link? Also, with the new NMB software, sometimes you can simply right-click on the photo and copy, then paste on your post. Sometimes that works, sometimes not. 2 Quote
Bugyotsuji Posted October 7, 2021 Report Posted October 7, 2021 Agreed. Some of us are allergic to Pinterest. Quote

Tom Darling Posted October 7, 2021 Author Report Posted October 7, 2021 That is the style of my 2 over lapping Bananas. Thanks Bill Quote
Tom Darling Posted October 7, 2021 Author Report Posted October 7, 2021 Also you have very nice tsuka. Quote
SHObill Posted October 7, 2021 Report Posted October 7, 2021 your welcome. haha bananas (face palm) Quote
SHObill Posted October 7, 2021 Report Posted October 7, 2021 Yes I found it an interesting Tanto. never seen this style of koshirae. The F&K are part of the tsuka=carved wood, not applied parts. same with saya, the koiguchi Kurigata & kojiri are all carved wood. at some point in time, someone slopped a lot of lacquer all over and it does have some worm damage. but the blade is nice, and has a fine habaki IMHO Quote
SHObill Posted October 7, 2021 Report Posted October 7, 2021 ohhh and Thank youuu I like it ! 1 Quote
Tom Darling Posted October 7, 2021 Author Report Posted October 7, 2021 Hi Thomas, I believe you got it, two Daikons (radish) mirror the parabolic shape of a banana. It makes more sense. Quote
Tom Darling Posted October 7, 2021 Author Report Posted October 7, 2021 Bill, I too like it very much. Can you take a close up pic.of the bonji and nakago whether signed or not. Thanks. Quote

It was sealed on the tsuka and had a famous kaji. Quote
