sanbil Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 Hello, I am new here, after some searching on the internet I found this forum. Seems like a good place to get some help with all the knowledge on here...I have been reading some posts trying to educate myself but am still at a bit of loss when it comes to these things...I am hoping that someone here can help me find info on a tsuba I have...I do not know much about it and do not even know if it is fake or real...it appears to be either bronze or copper from what I can tell...I would appreciate anyone who can give me info on who made it, when it was made or steer me in the right direction where I can do more research on it...thank you so much! Brian Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 Nah, it's not real. Send it to me and I'll dispose of it for you. Seriously though, a very nice tsuba, and yes...real. Someone will assist with maker details soon. I'm off to bed, long day. Don't forget to sign all posts with at least a first name. 1 Quote

John A Stuart Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 Circa 1736-1787 Shunseishi or 1771-1852 Toryusai. Which one?? The second is supposed to be the most prolific. John Quote

Jim P Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 Hi William, It looks like you are dealer ? why don't you ship outside the USA ? Quote
Brian Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 You would have been better off setting a price and listing it here.Especially since with Nihonto, 75% of your market is outside of the USA. And with eBay fees, you would have sold it here easier and faster. 1 Quote
ROKUJURO Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 William, possibly, it would attract more buyers if you wrote correctly KATANA instead of katano in the Ebay ad. Quote
sanbil Posted November 14, 2016 Author Report Posted November 14, 2016 So sorry, I didn't know I could post it for sale here Brian, Jim I don't consider myself a dealer, I just resale items, from time to time, that I get at estate sales, etc...I do ship worldwide, my wife listed it under her ebay ID and didn't remove the US shipping only in the description , she put in Europe, but didn't put worldwide in,,,,but I am willing to ship it worldwide to wherever the bidder is...sorry for the misspelling of Katana...thanks, William Quote
