Tsuba Mei Help Please - Bamen Tsunemasa?

Hi,

 

Could anyone please help me translate this mei ? it is very fainted and it was hard to take a good photo but hoping it is good enough.

I was told it migh be Bamen Tsunemasa 馬面 序政 .

Could anyone confirm that? And give me some links to read about the maker?

 

And actually wondering if it is even genuine since the mei is barely visible.

I don't know how Eric got Umazura as a name, an Umadura is a fish, Horseface, Haaaaa!!! Bamen is a name though and is what is meant here. John

He's been discussed on NMB a couple of times. If you put "Bamen" into the search facility at the top of the page you'll find some threads about him.

Stephen the tsuba on your link looks nearly exactly same as mine. The only difference is on my one mei is less visible and dont have tak extra rim around the tsuba.
