Kai-Gunto Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 Hi, I know its a replica ,but its so well made by Konin, Japan. Its made of multi scales , kozane. 32 plate kabuto. I have been looking for one for a long time. I dont have it now ,but its on its way 4 Quote
Fuuten Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 Thats great! Now you can actually imagine how they would've looked when in good condition (not to say there aren't any of those left, but generally you see armor or kabuto that are damaged). Thank you for sharing, i hope you'll enjoy it for a long time Quote
uwe Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Congrats Thomas, looks nice. Obviously not one of these cheap replicas seen commonly on the market. Pics a bit small, though. Quote

Brian Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 Cellphones do that on forums. There are lots of articles why. You must run them through a picture editor like photoshop etc, and save them correctly. https://www.google.com/search?q=cellphone+pics+rotated+on+forums&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 Quote

Kai-Gunto Posted January 26, 2016 Author Report Posted January 26, 2016 I upgraded my outfit with a Hankyu yumi , a smaller version of the normal yumi. Since im not gonna shoot with and dont wanna put too much money in that, i made one myself. Heres how it looks at the moment , but im waiting for the bow string and handle leather with dragonflie print. And NO, its NOT a coral snake Quote
Greg F Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Excellent Thomas. I'm no Japanese bow expert but looks great. After seeing this thread I got some of the same tabi and found them to be more comfortable than I expected. Any plans for arrows and quiver? Cheers. Greg Quote
Kai-Gunto Posted February 1, 2016 Author Report Posted February 1, 2016 Thanks. Tabi is very comfortable. Im gonna wear some kegutsu , shoes with hair for battle like in the early times. I got a homemade quiver ready and 12 arrows are on the way in the mail. 1 Quote
