If this is going to be drama go private.
  2. It's so good that you are so detail focused! I knew I saw it somewhere and after 2 months here are results. http://ohmura-study.net/906.html Number 3 -special order 1/1 match. [No chuso ana]
  3. People lacks basic knowledge about preservation of nihonto and it's better for some not to collect at all. I saw many bare blades sitting for years on stand without drop of oil.
  4. Which type of kyu gunto is this?
  5. Which Sukesada is this? [Sengoku?]
  6. Thank good seller don't ship to Poland
  7. Some bizen smith? I would go for muromachi. Sukmitsu also is known fr making almost straight swords. Look in link. https://nihonto.com/a-brief-study-of-bizen-blades-of-the-muromachi-era/ 2 character mei for batch sword?
  8. Low-end items teach you how good grade looks. Guys don't expect everyone to buy 10k nihonto as his first. Also market can go crazy with prices for some particular tosho.
  9. Habaki looks normal. Tosho drank away mune material?
  10. Men some laito are made in Japan yes. But longer the story longer manufacture chain. You tried google search photo? How much uou paied for it?
  11. Cursed sword that can end any collection?
  12. Yeah its his and I think you got many opinions on facebook thread. At least post your photos of koshirae.
  13. Check at Omura's http://ohmura-study.net/900.html
  14. True you have found reliable one.
  15. Seller lives his dream.
  16. It looks more sukemitsu then 2 others mentioned. If sugata will look like from muromachi probably will take it.
  17. Mekugi ana looks fine. It have reworked koshirae with typical samegawa plug after previous mekugi. If this is ubu even if gimei price is good. But who would forge batch sword? Bishu [except Sukemitsu] indicates low grade?
  18. Thank you for quick answer. Strange find. I asked for reliable photo to see sugata and nakago jiri.
  19. But men so its only 15% tarrif rate? Not extra 15% totalling 25%?
  20. Yes. In another thread I had same advice.
  21. 2 last kanji. Something mitsu.
  22. Nanbokucho, check @Jussi Ekholm list, search with th number. https://www.militaria.co.za/nmb/topic/53018-Japanese-old-sword-database/page/2/
  23. Yeah it was right decision. But dollar is in his lowest now. I wonder if we don't have now dawn of new crisis comparable with 2008.
  24. It's long blade. Its nagasa is 55,15cm/21,71 inch currently [If I translated correctly] and was in uchigatana/katana range. Nakago wasn't cut thats why I wrote "suriage". Looks like one hand sword originally.
  25. Thx a lot when you will have this sword in hand without mountings I'm sure it will give you tip heavy feeling.
