I see koshirae alone sells on ebay in 400-500$ range. But yeah paying ~1500$ for it or more is too much. Can anyne provide Fuller and Gregory 'Swordsmiths of Japan 1926-1945' oshigata 366? It is about this RJT I think. Dunno about this being oil tempered there are't any darker spots indicating oil.

Shin gunto T98 with open tsuba [guard] more info after nakago/tang is showed. I don't see signs of it having second hanger/haikan altough chuso is centered. Same about blade itself. There is hamon but close up would help in a matter if it was traditionally made [gendaito] or machine [showato] It's lacking menuki and tsukamaki. But no rust and tip is intact. If you value this blade and you want to keep it go for new shirasaya. For me every blade is a completed project when it have proper shirasaya. Koshirae is for exposition. You have saya already dunno if need to be refreshed inside. There is one togishi in Italy. Maybe someone will post more info about him.

You have limit 2.93 max on photo. Do pictures in less resolution/cut unused space around item and don't change resolution while saving after changes. Or simply use some site with pictures free service and post link...

Shinto [so-called kanbun-shinto with minimal sori] or end of edo [bakumatsu/longer blades. How long is nagasa? Dunno if marked kizu is kirikomi.

Mr @Rayhan your opinion is equally valuable. I like extremely skeptical point of view. When I buy trash I know what I buy. But If you would agree to be less "aggresive" it would be better for everyone here. We don't want to scare anyone from posting. Especially new collectors.
