  1. Gunto- military sword. It’s all about koshirae, then you can divide by sword for showato and gendaito. Royal decree’s established specifications for gunto type - mountings/koshirae

  3. Showato with seki stamp. Kane something. In download section on forum you have nice article about stamps. Dunno how describe „standard” of gunto. One mekugi ana is a standard in 94/98 gunto type.   7. Check saya if there isn’t moisture. It’s red active rust probably formed during delivery. Isoprophyl alcohol 99%?

  14. In many of those auctions he is first bidder. Dunno how many he won but it’s easy to change name at aoi so why shill would work under same name? He looked like collector.

  21. You have done a lot of research. I thought about combined work with all done in previous articles. Like Slough’s Mantetsu pages.
  22. What about making some articles available only for long term subscribers? Imo NCO 95 guide and some kind of oshigata compilation would do the trick. And I know some kind of guide is in the making. @Bruce Pennington @Scogg have You thought about cooking something? Slough’s second edition was printed 20 years ago
