Hi, For nakago jiri I would said Iriyama gata instead of Ha agari Kuri Jiri . Different Yasurime are strange, but a suriage blade should be kiri yasurime. Moreover the blade is hira zukuri, not common for long blade ! With nagasa about 33 cm : Nambokucho or Momoyama ? Yamato den an specialy Hosho school was famous for pure masame. Yakitsume boshi is also used in Yamato. Maybe Hosho, maybe Tegai ? Sorry I don't know. sebastien

Hi, May I am wrong, but I saw a black dash on the blade, upper the shinogi at about 10 cm upper the habaki. Looks like a big ware. :? sebastien

Hello, I also don't think it is suriage, yasuri me doesn't seems to be kiri. I am not a specialist, but boshi without kaeri doesn't looks like mino den. Is it Iori mune or mitsu mune ? Sebastien

Hello, On this side of the nakago, it is the date. First kanji is missing on the photo. ? + "roku" 5 nen 2 gatsu So read it as the febuary of the 5th year of ???roku Maybe bunroku (1592-1596) ? Regard Sebastien V.
