quite heavy at 175 grammes.
has hammer marks and undulations on the faces.
so basically thats all i can see about it....it actually fits one of my slender bisen wakizashis but its not going on it lol.
i reckon its meiji or late edo but definately not chinese musr be worth peanuts.
on a serious note when did brass tsubas come more common than iron and were it easeier to produce and manufacture
