The ito looks horrible. Some of the fittings look horrible, the seppa fit looks horrible. The iida latch looks wonky But at first glace it could pass unsuspected at a gunshow and someone would buy it -

the myths of his swords are a fantastical as his gold treasures. im off to the philipines -
its been a interesting read, i just wanted to "gauge the weather" personally i think if anyone pays 5k for a machine made blade needs there head checked. i just wanted to see if theres still interest, considering the currant market conditions. and also wanted to start conversation about percived RAREITY after all early type 95 ncos swords sell for more money then what i sold my early ardmirals flag sword that was published. and also i was thinking of your brain, didnt want yet another over priced item that sits on the forum for 6 months taking up space and time

affordable katana for sale in shirasaya
lonely panet replied to lonely panet's topic in Sold Archive
wow just read this. i never new this guy was making deals with "me".... he never offered a deal. he tried to haggle on price. while i was ignoring his haggling, the sword sold. he got upset when i posted it sold. next time you try and be a cheap bastard and haggle a seller down to a stupid price on what is already a stunning deal, just remember im free to sell to others . we or i didnt enter ANY agrement with you. so stop runining what was a good sale for the person whom paid me instantly, and got extra out of my pleasure of a easy transaction -
if your haggling over $150, this isnt the hobby for you. many books cost more then that?

fair point the kanbun area sword made from nambantetsu is ok, but a showato stamp on a gendai quality sword will always be the black sheep of both communities
