    Thanks guys for the input, something I’ve been researching for a few weeks now. Haven’t really found any info on the subject. I like the article about the hamon, that was interesting. For whatever reason I would’ve thought different folding techniques would bring different characteristics to the sword.

    Wow the shape of this blade is stunning. At that price I can't believe this is still for sale. Massive Tachi, in polish with a gorgeous Harmon line & shape. It definitely checks a lot of boxes for my collection. Good luck with your sale. If it's still up for grabs by the end of the month I'll send you a message. Maybe we can figure something out with this one.

    @MarcoUdin wait time doesn't bother me, seems to be common to have some wait time for this kind of thing. Thank you for the reply. I think I'd feel more comfortable with a traditionally trained togishi.
