About Me

I have been collecting nihonto for 2 years. I am a memeber of the Northern CA Japanese Sword Club (meets 3rd Sun every month in San Fransisco). Been studying Brazillian jujitsu for 7 months now (as of Nov 2015). I have made a few shirasaya, and am aging some American magnolia wood for use in home Koshirae making. I have 6 antique blades. I am not an astute art buyer like many of you on the board are, so I don't have all the expensive reading material like fujishiros etc.

My interests in studying nihonto are to find out what makes a good blade, so good.
